F9777 Low Modular Boucle Sofa
The F9777 is a low modular sofa in ivory bouclé whose backs are its idea — soft cushion panels folded over a low rail like towels over a warm rack, draping down both sides. Armless blocks, a platform-low seat, a chaise return: the whole piece sits close to the floor and softer than anything with corners has a right to. It is lounge furniture in the most literal sense.
Design & Character
Every edge is relaxed on purpose. The seat modules run as clean low slabs; above them, the folded back-cushions break the geometry with their draped, garment-like slouch, rounding the sofa's horizon into soft hills. Without arms, the ends stay open — sit sideways, lie lengthwise, drift onto the chaise. The composition reads less like a sofa placed in a room and more like comfort poured along one side of it.
Materials & Finish
Ivory bouclé covers seats, platforms, and the folded backs alike, its looped nap giving the pale surfaces texture, warmth, and forgiveness. The fold itself is the tailoring flourish — a thick, rounded seam of fabric riding the rail, finished identically on both faces so the sofa presents a dressed back to the room. Citrus and cream cushions are the only punctuation.
Made for Floor-Level Living
This is seating for the household that lounges low: the media room, the sunroom, the conversation pit's modern descendant. The armless, level modules invite every posture a formal sofa forbids, and the low horizon keeps windows, art, and greenery in view above it. In open plans it zones a relaxation area without building a wall of upholstery.
Styling & Pairing
Ground it on a soft, cloud-patterned rug and keep companions low — a flat stone table, floor cushions, plants rising behind it the way grasses frame it here. The pale palette takes one accent color beautifully; the chartreuse pair shows the register. Nothing tall belongs beside it except the greenery.
Why This Piece
Some sofas hold court; this one lets the room exhale. The F9777 suits homes that want their lounge genuinely lounged in — barefoot furniture, finished to design-fair standards. The fold of those backs is the tactile signature: press one at a showroom, and check how the drape holds its line.
